Please join us ONLINE as our 85 year old healthy and vital Mountain Hermitage founding and guiding teacher Marcia Rose offers teachings and practices along with time for questions and discussion rooted in the observation, acknowledgment, and acceptance of Anicca/change/impermanence.

We will explore the unpredictable and uncertain nature of the timing along with the challenging and beautiful ways that Anicca relentlessly shows up. This exploration will render each of us a deeper and fuller capacity for presence rooted in wisdom as we traverse life and eventually death.

This series of two Sunday morning classes and a weekend at-home retreat stem from Marcia’s life and extended hospital stay and near-death, hospice experience three years ago.

We will begin promptly at the scheduled times.  All times are Mountain Time, so please find the corresponding time where you are currently living.  Please join us ON TIME for these offerings. The ‘virtual door’ will be closed very soon after we begin.

Please fill out the application form (see below) and send it to us, along with your fee, before March 19, 2026.  Space is limited so early application is encouraged.

Marcia was resident teacher for staff at the Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre, MA from 1991-1995. She also was one of the teachers for the annual three-month retreat at IMS for some years, as well as an occasional visiting teacher for shorter retreats at IMS and a regular visiting teacher at The Forest Refuge in Barre, MA.  Marcia has taught VipassanaConcentrationBrahma Vihara, and Creative Process retreats in various U.S. and international venues for over 35 years and is dedicated to offering these ancient and timeless teachings in ways that make them accessible, authentic and relevant for contemporary culture.
