A gift of any amount will be received with utmost gratitude and will help the Hermitage navigate the economic uncertainties of these times.  A gift of any amount will also help us to continue to bring the Dhamma to the world.   Thank you.

If beings knew, as I know, the benefits of generosity,
they would not let an opportunity go by
without giving and sharing.
— The Buddha

Tuan's-pink-lotusGeneral Fund

The Mountain Hermitage relies on donations to support our annual operating expenses and to help us hold down the cost of our retreat offerings. Our yearly expenses include publicizing our retreats, hiring a part-time administrative office assistant, paying a minimal rent and the utilities for our Hermitage office space and supporting our Guiding Teacher with a small parsonage allowance so that she can continue to devote her life to sharing the Dharma.

Scholarship Fund

In keeping with a central tenet of the Hermitage mission, we have strengthened our commitment to offer the Hermitage experience to those without the resources to afford retreat costs, and to promote diversity among retreatants. Your gift to the Scholarship fund will directly contribute to bringing the transforming power of the Dharma to our world.

Teacher Support

Any support you are able to offer our guiding teacher Marcia Rose enables her to continue to dedicate her life to sharing the Dharma on a donation basis while living as a householder in the modern world.  Donations intended for Marcia should be in the form of a check written directly to her and mailed in care of The Mountain Hermitage.
