It is with deepest respect and boundless gratitude for teacher, poet and author Stephen Levine, who died in northern New Mexico on January 17, 2016, that we offer a short excerpt from an interview with him that was published many years ago in The Sun Magazine. Stephen touched many, many people over the years with his teaching and writing regarding healing and death. His wisdom and influence has been profoundly important for many of us who traverse the path of awakening. We offer this small tribute to Stephen via sharing some of his words with you.
